Your Deutsche Bank Debit Card is a gateway to the world of banking privileges and managing it is much easier. With our MyBank India app and db OnlineBanking, you can generate the Debit Card PIN, block/ unblock your card, set transaction limits and a lot more in just a few clicks. 

Set Debit Card PIN online 

Debit Card Green PIN is a go-green initiative providing ‘online / instant’ option to Individual customers for setting up their ATM/Debit card PIN using db Onlinebanking
and MyBank India app.

MyBank India app and db OnlineBanking enable you to securely generate your Deutsche Bank PIN online, so that you need not visit the branch or wait for the PIN mail.

How to generate the Debit Card PIN through MyBank India app and db OnlineBanking

  • Log in to MyBank India app or db OnlineBanking 
  • On db OnlineBanking, click on General Services in the Menu section 
  • On MyBank India app, click on Service Request in the Menu section under Debit Card
  • Select “Set Debit Card PIN” Select Debit Card for which the PIN must be set
  • Set the four-digit PIN of your choice along with OTP
  • On successful set up, you will receive an email and SMS notification

Don’t have your login details yet? You can still set the Debit Card PIN online.  

  • Open Customer login or MyBank India app
  • Click on the Set Debit Card PIN option 
  • Enter your Customer ID and verification code and select Set PIN
  • Enter your Debit Card details, Date of Birth and PAN details
  • Set the four-digit PIN of your choice along with OTP
  • On successful set up, you will receive an email and SMS notification

Enhancing Security of Card Transactions

As per the Master direction issued by RBI on “Credit Card and Debit Card – Issuance and Conduct Directions, 2022” issued vide RBI/2022-23/92 DoR.AUT.REC.No.27/24.01.041/2022-23 dated 21st April 2022 (last updated on 7th March 2024) and Circular no RBI/2019-2020/142 DPSS.CO.PD No. 1343/02.14.003/2019-20 dated 15th January 2020 on “Enhancing Security of Card Transactions”, below action will be taken at periodic intervals. 

For Customers who have not used their Debit Card across any of the limits assigned towards Domestic (ECOM & Contactless) or International (All modes) in the past twelve months, existing limits on their Debit Card - Domestic, International* or both (excluding Domestic ATM & POS) will be zeroised to safeguard them from any fraudulent activity.

Customers can enable/ disable transaction channels and adjust limits for Domestic or International transactions, including ATM withdrawals, POS, E-commerce, and Contactless transactions as per their requirement and convenience.

Customers can log in to our MyBank India app (Mobile Banking application) or db OnlineBanking (Online Banking platform)  or call us on 1860 266 6601# to enable limits.  

Steps to log in to MyBank India app and db OnlineBanking to enable limits:

MyBank India app

  • Log in to the MyBank India app using your Customer ID and Password
  • Click on menu, service request, debit card temporary on/ off, select your debit card
  • Set your ATM withdrawal, POS, and E-commerce transaction limits for Domestic, International or both transactions. You can also temporarily block/ unblock your debit card and enable/ disable transaction channels
  • On clicking Submit, you will be shown a confirmation screen with a summary of your modifications
  • Verify your changes, enter your transaction password and OTP to confirm
  • Click on submit and you’re done

db OnlineBanking

  • Log in to db OnlineBanking using your Customer ID and Password
  • Click on general services, Debit Card section and click on Debit Card block/ unblock and modify limits, select your Debit Card
  • Set your ATM withdrawal, POS, and E-commerce transaction limits for Domestic, International or both transactions. You can also temporarily block/ unblock your Debit Card and enable/ disable transaction channels
  • On clicking Submit, you will be shown a confirmation screen with a summary of your modifications
  • Verify your changes, enter your transaction password and OTP to confirm
  • Click on submit and you’re done

*International usage is not permitted on Debit Cards linked to entity accounts, NRO accounts and resident Individual accounts without PAN.

Block Debit Card

You can block your existing Debit card by logging in to db OnlineBanking or MyBank India app. Select the card and the reason for block.

  • Debit Card will be blocked immediately
  • Card once blocked cannot be activated again 
  • Only active cards will be available for blocking

Reissue existing Debit Card

You can now request for a reissue of the existing debit card. Select the card and the reason for reissue. The existing debit card will be reissued and physically sent to you with updated expiry date and CVV

  •  New debit will be delivered to your communication address updated in our records within seven working days
  • Your existing card will be blocked once you activate your new debit card
